There are a lot of changes that occur in the industry under the influence of information technology. Those changes help significantly increase the quality of products and services, what increases customer loyalty and satisfaction. Manufacturers also do not stand aside: new approaches and business models, that are born in industry 4.0, allow them to earn more and invest in product improvement. In the end, everyone wins.
The term “industry 4.0” is now used as a synonym for the fourth industrial revolution. The essence of it is that today the material world is connected to the virtual one. As a result, new cyber-physical complexes are created, gathered in one digital ecosystem.
